Don't you miss falling asleep while multiple other people are still awake, shuffling around and eating cookies, making sure anyone bad sneaking in will get punched in the face? I do.
In Vietnam when I went to sleep in the jungle when someone was on guard I felt totally safe, but when I was on guard I thought every NVA soldier was slowly creeping up to my position. What's up with that - I had an M16 set on rock-n-roll and my finger on the trigger, no one could have gotten me even if they were two inches away.
