So last Saturday night, Clay, out of the blue, says: Let's go to the Moss Beach tidepools tomorrow!"
I had no idea what these were, but anytime he wants to do an activity involving THE OUTSIDE I consider it a miracle, and so I said yes without hesitation.
Turns out they're the cutest things ever. Seals sleeping all over the rocks, warm water, pink and purple flowers, orange starfish, fresh air, wet feet, yes!
A few pics before I run to work.

I don't know how this outfit happened. I called it my religious cult uniform. People stared.

Humming to a snail to make it pop out and say hi. It works!

Glad to see you're alive and kickin' it religious cult-style.
ReplyDeleteAlso, what is that dark thing on the ground in the first picture? It reminds me of a shadow, but I'm pretty sure those don't exist anymore.
oh thank GAWD! i have missed you, BJA!
ReplyDeletebtw...i will probably be in the Ubi office on July 21!!!)
i like the last pic lots.
I love these pictures!!! I want to gooooo!
ReplyDeleteAlso, you look like my older sister in these pics. Like, a lot. It's kinda freaking me out.
:) Happy for blog entries!
Moss Beach is so awesome. And Mavericks if the water is low. I love spending lazy afternoons down there!
ReplyDeleteFunny story, I had a cell phone fall out of my pocket at Moss Beach, it sat in a tidepool for hours before a nice couple from the East Bay found it. And it still worked. I think it's something magical in the water there.
Sign the lease right here actually:

Awwww! You're so sweet to write a post just for me! And I get to see pics of my beautiful cuz(zes), too! (Hi Clay!) Thank you, thank you.
ReplyDeleteAnd wait! The weather! It's actually su.... oh no, false alarm. Yup, still raining.
What a surprise to see Clay with his hands in seawater. Ask him if he ever had a compulsion to pick up leaves from the lawn under the area where he was going to swing. He was prob too young to remember, but I suspected that was an indication of some type of personality trait. I loved the pictures and am so jealous because you have such wonderful pleasures around you. Enjoy all you can.
