I was semi-grumpy today, but my baby and the fall weather made stuff better

Jolly sailor. (Peacoat was 3 dolla on consignment woot!)

My old friends.

Chilly, rainy day walks make me frantically chipper!

One of my favorite smells: Smushed apples on the ground.

  1. :) The first pic is fantastic. And yes... the Fall weather sends me into some weird crazy frenzy. And then it starts snowing and I get depressed for like 3 months. It's awesome times.

  5. The peacoat is adorable, as is the pink fleece. I have a love/hate relationship with fall... I love the leaves, apple cider, cider donuts, and brisk fall walks/hikes. I hate waking up to frost on my car, bare trees and having to put away my favorite summer clothes.

  7. 40s!! Wow, that's legit cold. As a fellow SF transplant, I'm so excited for winter and snow! Bring on the layers and the mulled wine. HJ will have her first sleigh, sled ride soon :) Also love those Fall outdoorsy smells. :)

hi ame! I was just catching up on your blog, holy lord ms. harper is too precious for words! omg! also, the hunter inserts are soo aweseome - they are a total must since i walk everywhere in them in NYC - but I think you would love them there too. I think the cream or navy cable knit ones would be really cute with the Hunters you have :) you can totally order them online - I think they have really cute insert options at www.winknyc.com (cute store!). p.s. how did we ever get through college without these?? xoxo em
